I recently wrote about NEC Medias, which with a thickness of 7.7 mm can go for the thinnest smartphone in the world, but in the meantime there were official details of the device. It is made by NEC Casio Mobile, named Medias N-04C and will be available from March 15 in Japan in the network of the largest local operator NTT DoCoMo in black and white version. The smartphone weighs 105 grams, which is impressive as one of its features are 4 "LCD screen with 480 x 854 pixels and the protection of glass Gorilla, 5.1MP CMOS camera, 1Seg TV tuner, an electronic book and even an infrared transmitter. Medias is compatible with the standard i-mode and will be sold with Android 2.2, but this summer will receive update to version 2.3. Other phone features include a microSDHC slot, GPS receiver, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and Wi-Fi.
